The Virtual Healthcare Exploration Program by UniHawk is a 4-week virtual workshop built specifically for high school students in Bahrain who want to explore healthcare – practically, confidently, and early.

In just 4 Friday sessions, you’ll go from curious to capable.

What Happens in Each Session

Session 1 – CPR Training Friday, 12 June · 4:00–5:00 PM

You’ll learn the skill that can mean the difference between life and death – and practice it live.

•  What CPR is and when to use it

•  Chest compressions and rescue breaths, explained simply

•  Emergency response awareness and what to do first

•  Live Q&A and interactive roleplay

•  Hands-on CPR practice guided by a facilitator

Session 2 – First Aid Essentials Friday, 19 June · 4:00–5:00 PM

Six real emergencies. Six skills you’ll actually remember.

•  Fainting and unconsciousness response

•  Fractures, sprains, and dislocations

•  Seizure management

•  Cuts, nosebleeds, and wound care

•  Burns treatment

•  Choking first aid (including the Heimlich manoeuvre)

Session 3 – Suturing Techniques Friday, 26 June · 4:00–5:00 PM

A rare opportunity for high school students – guided introduction to a core clinical skill.

•  Introduction to basic suturing methods

•  Step-by-step live demonstration by a facilitator

•  Hands-on practice in pairs or small groups

•  Hand positioning and safe technique coaching

•  Confidence-building debrief and Q&A

Session 4 – Medical Career Guidance & Counselling Friday, 3 July · 4:00–5:00 PM
